java.lang.Objectorg.apache.commons.functor.core.composite.CompositeUnaryPredicate<A>
public final class CompositeUnaryPredicate<A>
A UnaryPredicate
representing the composition of
UnaryFunctions,
"chaining" the output of one to the input
of another. For example,
new CompositeUnaryPredicate(p).of(f)teststop.test(f.evaluate(obj)), andnew CompositeUnaryPredicate(p).of(f).of(g)teststop.test(f.evaluate(g.evaluate(obj))).Note that although this class implements
Serializable, a given instance will only be trulySerializableif all the underlying functors are. Attempts to serialize an instance whose delegates are not allSerializablewill result in an exception.
| Constructor Summary | |
|---|---|
CompositeUnaryPredicate(UnaryPredicate<? super A> predicate)
Create a new CompositeUnaryPredicate. |
|
| Method Summary | ||
|---|---|---|
boolean |
equals(CompositeUnaryPredicate<?> that)
Learn whether another CompositeUnaryPredicate is equal to this. |
|
boolean |
equals(java.lang.Object that)
Indicates whether some other object is "equal to" this functor. |
|
int |
hashCode()
Returns a hash code for this functor adhering to the general Object.hashCode contract. |
|
|
of(UnaryFunction<? super P,? extends A> preceding)
Fluently obtain a CompositeUnaryPredicate that applies our predicate to the result of the preceding function. |
|
boolean |
test(A obj)
Evaluate this predicate. |
|
java.lang.String |
toString()
Returns a human readable description of this functor. |

public CompositeUnaryPredicate(UnaryPredicate<? super A> predicate)
predicate - UnaryPredicate against which the composite functions' output will be tested| Method Detail |
|---|
public <P> CompositeUnaryPredicate<P> of(UnaryFunction<? super P,? extends A> preceding)
preceding - UnaryFunction
public boolean test(A obj)
test in interface UnaryPredicate<A>obj - the A object to test
public boolean equals(java.lang.Object that)
Object.equals contract.
Additionally, this method can return
true only if the specified Object implements
the same functor interface and is known to produce the same
results and/or side-effects for the same arguments (if any).
While implementators are strongly encouraged to override
the default Object implementation of this method,
note that the default Object implementation
does in fact adhere to the functor equals contract.
equals in interface Functorequals in class java.lang.Objectthat - the object to compare this functor to
true iff the given object implements
this functor interface, and is known to produce the same
results and/or side-effects for the same arguments
(if any).Functor.hashCode()public boolean equals(CompositeUnaryPredicate<?> that)
that - CompositeUnaryPredicate to test
public int hashCode()
Object.hashCode contract.
Implementators are strongly encouraged but not
strictly required to override the default Object
implementation of this method.
hashCode in interface FunctorhashCode in class java.lang.ObjectFunctor.equals(java.lang.Object)public java.lang.String toString()
